Case Description
On October 31, 1980, the body of 10-year-old Brad Machett was discovered in a corn field in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. Brad had gone missing the previous week with no leads showing where he could have possibly gone. An autopsy showed that Brad had been beaten and strangled. Witnesses stated that they had seen a young man with wavy brown hair come out of the corn field two days after the disappearance of Brad. The only publicized lead in this case points to the notorious child predator Michael Menzer, who died in prison in 2008. It has yet to be confirmed in Brad was another of his victims. Brad's family continue to advocate for him and hope to one day have their loved one's homicide solved.
