On June 6th, 2007 Barbara Garnto, 25 was found in a park underneath thick underbrush on the south side of Johnston Park at the intersection of Johnston Street and North Street in Brunswick, Georgia at 11:45 a.m. Police reported she may have last been seen alive at approximately 1 a.m. near the 2200 block of Reynolds Street. Barbara's family continues to advocate for their loved one and seek answers in her case.
