***UPDATE*** -September 8, 2018, Juan Saldana was arrested in the summer of 2018 in connection with Arturo Cantu's homicide. A Nueces County Grand Jury decided not to indict him due to there not being enough evidence.

On April 30, 2018, at around 3:35 A.M., officers found Arturo Cantu, 24, dead from a gunshot wound on 1513 Case De Oro Drive. According to witnesses, they went outside and saw Arturo Cantu being followed by a man wearing khaki pants. Witnesses heard gunfire and saw a man lying on the ground, who was later identified as Arturo Cantu. Arturo's family continues to advocate for his case and fight for a judicial resolution.
