On Tuesday, January 4, 1994 the body of Lora Crady was found floating in the Ortega River in Jacksonville, Florida.
The detectives involved in the initial investigation deemed Lora’s death undetermined but the medical examiner found evidence of foul play and ruled her death a homicide.
Because of the discrepancy, evidence was thrown out and now detectives need the public’s help.
Lora’s family has struggled and fought to find justice and feel that their pleas have fallen on deaf ears. They have started a petition on Change.org asking the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to arrest the man suspected of Lora’s murder.
Unfortunately, without someone coming forward it is believed that they do not have enough evidence to prosecute.
If you have any information, no matter how small you think it is, about Lora’s murder please call the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at (904) 630-0500.
To remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at (866) 845-TIPS. You may be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000 if your Crime Stoppers tip leads to an arrest in this case.
