On January 6, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Werner Oestreich was shot in the back of the head while sitting in his car, by someone hiding in the back seat.
Werner’s body was dumped from his car around 15th Street and St. Louis Avenue. Werner’s 1987 4-door Toyota Camry was found burned just a short time after the attack under the Charleston Boulevard underpass. Werner’s wallet was later discovered in a garbage can outside a Vegas grocery store.
Werner, originally from Germany, had no family in the United States. His friends have continued the search for justice and refused to let Werner be forgotten.
Investigators need the public’s help to solve this case and bring answers and justice to Werner’s friends and family.
