Year of Hope is Project: Cold Case’s annual fundraising event. Each year, we gather a

selection of auction items for bidding and share details of the organization’s
previous
year
in
operation and future dreams.
Project: Cold Case hosts two monthly meetings for families that have lost loved ones
to
unsolved
murders. On e is in-person and the other is via Zoom. These are casual meetings with
open-door
policies.

Cold Case Stats
Nearly 340,000 cases of homicide and non-negligent manslaughter went unsolved from
1965
to 2021, according to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report data studied by The Murder
Accountability Project.
This database consists of unsolved homicide victims and long-term missing persons with foul play suspected. Each was submitted by a family member or law enforcement with family permission.
