On Saturday, July 6, 2013 police were called to the Williamsburg Apartments on South Carrier Parkway in Grand Prairie, Texas in response to toddler walking around the parking lot alone. The 3-year-old girl led officers to the apartment she shared with her 26-year-old mother, Elisa Johnson.
Officers found the door to the apartment ajar and Elisa deceased on the floor inside. Detectives believe her last known contact was on July 3, 2013 between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. Investigators have remained tight-lipped and have not release much information publicly but have asked for the public’s help in solving this murder.
No one knows exactly what Elisa’s young daughter may have witnessed in that apartment or how long she had been left in there with her mother’s body. Elisa’s family has waited over three years now for some form of justice but the questions still outnumber the answers.
If you have any information on the unsolved murder of Elisa Johnson please call the Grand Prairie Police Major Crimes Hotline at 972-237-8877. If you prefer to remain anonymous, and possibly be eligible for $1,000 reward, you can call the Grand Prairie Crime Stoppers hotline at 972-988-8477.
