On June 28, 2015, Robert Lucio, 25, his 1-year-old daughter, and his girlfriend were walking near their home in Compton, California. A gunman opened fire on the family. Robert later passed away at the hospital. His girlfriend and daughter did not sustain physical injuries. The gunman fired his weapon from inside a vehicle. The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 6-feet-tall, weighing about 250 pounds, with short dark hair. The suspect drove away in a dark grey, Kia with tinted windows. The Kia also had "Car Pro" on the paper plates. Robert's family continues to advocate for their loved one and seek answers in his case.
