On May 8, 2014, 25-year-old Joshua S. Bressette, of North Adams, Massachusetts, was found dead on the rooftop of a building on Magenta Street in the Bronx, New York. Joshua had been reported missing after he was last seen in North Adams on May 5, 2014. Authorities determined he died from multiple gunshot wounds, including wounds to the head and back. Joshua’s homicide remains unsolved. Investigators in New York continue to lead the case, with assistance from the Berkshire State Police Detective Unit and the North Adams Police Department due to possible connections in Massachusetts.
