On Sunday, December 13, 2020, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Tempe Police responded to 4130 S. Mill Ave. in Tempe, Arizona, for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they located 48-year-old Detrick Stanford suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported for medical treatment but later succumbed to his injuries. No suspect information has been publicly announced, and the case remains unsolved. Detrick's family continues to seek justice, while advocating for him.
