The badly battered body of Celedon Archuleta was found in his ransacked home in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 11, 1980. Detectives at the time believed he had been kicked to death, and that more than one person was responsible. Robbery was indicated as a motive, as Celedon was known to keep large amounts of cash at his westside home.
