On March 10, 2008, Anthony Johnson Jr., 31, was found shot outside 33 Pride Street, not far from the emergency room of UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Security personnel at Mercy told police they found Mr. Johnson on Pride Street between Forbes Avenue and Locust Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:27 P.M. Homicide detectives said Anthony Johnson was the target of a shooting reported at 10:06 p.m. in the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue. Anthony Johnson's homicide remains unsolved. Anthony's family continues to seek justice and fight for justice in his case.
